A licensed member of the Missouri Bar and the Illinois Bar, Mr. Kraus is Talisen Technologies,
Inc.'s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In addition to providing legal counsel to Talisen's
Executive Team and support to its Product Development, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Human
Resources departments, Mr. Kraus provides Talisen and its Managed Services clients with specialized
expertise in the negotiation of leases and vendor agreements with global suppliers, such as
telecommunications carriers and other technology infrastructure providers.
Prior to joining Talisen, Mr. Kraus served as General Counsel for CoreExpress, Inc., a dynamic
information technology company. At CoreExpress, Mr. Kraus established the legal function within
the 400–employee company and actively participated in the negotiation and drafting of financing
and vendor agreements that committed the company to expenditures of more than $500 million. Mr.
Kraus served as the primary contact for the sale of CoreExpress to Williams Communications Group, LLC.
Mr. Kraus' ten years of legal and regulatory experience also include working as: Superintendent
of Regulatory Affairs for Ameren Corporation, a large Midwestern regulated utility; Manager of
Electricity Consulting for Strategic Energy, LTD, a world–class supply–side energy consulting
firm; and an attorney for Greensfelder, Hemker, and Gale, a large St. Louis law firm. Prior to
law school, Mr. Kraus worked for five years as an electrical engineer for Union Electric Company.
Mr. Kraus holds a Juris Doctoris from Washington University School of Law and a bachelor of science
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri–Rolla.
