Tracy Simmons
Director of Sales and Marketing Support
Tracy Simmons, Director of Sales and Marketing Support, brings 13 years of telecommunications
sales, business process management and training experience to Talisen’s client organizations and
their partners.
Prior to joining the Talisen team, Simmons worked as an independent trainer customizing
and implementing training on Avaya Communication Systems for system administrators, end-users
and sales associates.
Before venturing into independent training, Simmons worked 7 years for AT&T moving from Sales
Executive to Sales Consultant, then on to National Account Manager where her proven sales results
earned the Sales Vice President Awards in 1994 and 1995, and Best Business Partner Award in 1995.
Subsequently as Strategic Marketing Manager for AT&T she led a sales team of 75 associates to $230
million in revenue and served on the select design team responsible for restructuring AT&T’s $10
billion Global Services business unit.
Mrs. Simmons is an experienced professional with extensive background in process management,
strategy development, telecommunications training and sales. She has previously taught the
following curriculum: Introduction to Telecommunications, Partner ACS, Merlin Magix, Oracle,
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Raised in Indiana, she earned both her B.S. General Marketing
and M.S. Information and Communication Sciences at Ball State University. Mrs. Simmons considers
her greatest achievement to be her marriage and her three children.
