JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops and implements complex internet and intranet applications on one or more platforms. Uses knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies including JavaScript, ExtJs, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, HTML, and XML. Knowledge of SQL & MySQL, stored procedures, and database design concepts. Knowledge of other UI frameworks such as also a plus. Ability to write technical design documentation, perform code reviews and unit testing. Support user, system, performance and regression testing efforts. Support system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards.

The Software Developer will also be required to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer groups to complete the current project goals. The position requires initiative and independence in carrying out assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Portal Desktop and Application Development

EXPERIENCE: 

  • 2-5 years of Java development experience using web services to communicate with remote APIs
  • 2-5 years of Java UI frameworks such as: AngularJS, REACT and Vue.js and/or ExtJS 6
  • Experience programming modern building control systems (e.g. JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, ALC) and configuring field devices is a plus
  • Experience working at/with DoD customers and sites is a plus
  • Experience with IT systems and familiar with IT system terminology is a plus

POSITION: Network Operations Center/Help Desk Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will bring knowledge of Help Desk and/or Network Operations Center support. The ideal candidate will have a background in technology in one of the following areas: helpdesk support, desktop troubleshooting and support, technology monitoring and ticket tracking systems, systems administration, web application design concepts or network operations center support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will support the following functions:

  • Help Desk support for external customers of Talisen
  • Remote and local information systems support for end users in Web, Windows and UNIX environments.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain and Energy systems Tier I support and coordinating response with Tier II and III support as needed.

Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React JS workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
