Highly motivated, entry-level Business Developer. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company and for actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.


  • Develop new business opportunities by researching, identifying, and securing appointments with qualified decision makers in a B2B environment
  • Conduct online research to identify new leads and target accounts
  • Engage prospects by phone and email to generate interest in Talisen Technologies products and services
  • Qualify leads and prospects by identifying and documenting specific needs relative to Talisen Technologies product offering
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments through web research (trade journals, newsletters, blogs, etc.), trade-shows, sales seminars, and educational meetings
  • Willingness to travel for occassional meetings or trade shows


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field desired
  • 2+ years of professional work experience, experience in sales or customer support preferred
  • Experience working independently, setting goals, and executing against them towards a greater strategy
  • Ability to use internet tools for research and compile that research into meaningful reports
  • Experience with CRM software management and documentation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of enterprise software solutions preferred
  • Strong analytical, multitasking, problem solving, and detail orientation skills
  • Strong self-motivation, achievement-orientation, and a sense of urgency to learn and succeed
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
