Talisen’s Enterprise Sustainability Platform (ESP) is an enterprise-level tool that aggregates and consolidates data management from metering systems, building automation systems, smart sensors, applications, building management systems, and IT systems.
ESP is a scalable IoT platform and offers customizable dashboards to provide easy access to enterprise-wide information. Data Acquisition Gateway (DAG)
Data collection and distribution framework.
Talisen has developed a robust data integration middleware component called the Data Acquisition Gateway (DAG). The DAG is a multi-tiered data collection and distribution framework designed for integration with building management system (BMS) protocols and other TCP/IP-based data sources.
Talisen’s gateway consists of a system scheduler to allow polling of systems at different intervals, and data access is organized as a collection of protocol and device drivers. The DAG supports several standard TCP/IP IT protocols such as SQL, (s)FTP, HTTP(s), OPC, etc., as well standard BMS protocols (e.g., BACnet/IP, Modbus/IP). The modular protocol/device driver architecture allows for the extensibility of big data for large building portfolios to analyze and reduce energy across an enterprise.
